About Cypress Flips

Honest local sourcing for collectors, parents, riders, vendors, and anyone tired of guessing what they are really buying.

My name is Michael Morrison. I grew up in Cypress, graduated from Cypress High School, and built Cypress Flips around a simple idea: inspect the product, tell the truth, price it fairly, and make the deal easy for buyers, parents, collectors, and vendors.

Why I started this

Cypress is where I am from. Flipping is what I do.

The name Cypress Flips was not complicated because it did not need to be. Cypress is my home base, and flipping is the work: finding products, inspecting them, restoring what I can, writing honest listings, and matching the right item with the right buyer.

The orange and blue are intentional too — a nod to Cypress High School and the city that shaped me. This is a local business, and I want people in Cypress, Orange County, and Los Angeles to know exactly who they are dealing with.

Core promise

My word matters.

My Catholic faith is not a marketing gimmick. It is a quiet reminder that honesty, fairness, and keeping my word matter before God and before my neighbor. I am not here to preach at you. I am here to do business cleanly.

Inspected before listed

I do not just post items and hope. I inspect, test when possible, compare to complete/mint examples, and disclose what I find.

No-pressure deals

If an item is not right for you, I would rather say that before you waste gas, time, or money. We can talk through the pros and cons honestly.

Fair, flexible pricing

I believe in old-school negotiations. Static price matching is not the whole story. If the situation is fair, I am willing to work with people.

For buyers

Buy with confidence before you spend gas money.

Buying used goods can feel like gambling. People say “it has everything” without checking. They miss cracks, missing accessories, hidden games inside consoles, weak buttons, worn labels, or untested electronics. Sometimes they are not trying to deceive anyone — but the buyer still pays for the mistake.

My job is to remove as much guessing as possible. If I say an item is good, I want that to mean something. If something has a flaw, I disclose it in the listing. If something is untested, I say it is untested. If something is not a good fit for your situation, I am willing to tell you that too.

  • Handheld consoles and games are a major focus.
  • Motorcycle accessories are a growing category.
  • Pokémon cards, collectibles, plush, figures, and hard-to-source items are welcome territory.
  • Refunds are handled case by case because I am building a real business, not a quick scam.
For vendors

Turn slow-moving inventory into cash and space.

If you have inventory that can sell online but you do not want to deal with listings, messages, photos, customer service, shipping, returns, or waiting weeks for the right buyer, I may be interested in buying it directly.

I am comfortable being patient, handling the resale work, and waiting for the right buyer. You may need space or cash now. That is where a clean liquidation deal can help both sides. If the numbers make sense, I can buy individual items, bulk lots, or larger inventory batches with clear expectations and fast communication.

  • Send photos or a list of what you have.
  • I review the resale potential and make an offer.
  • We arrange pickup, meetup, delivery, or transport depending on the deal.
  • Orange County and Los Angeles are the core service areas; roughly 30 miles from Cypress is very reasonable.
How I do business

Brutally honest listings. Practical meetups. Real negotiation.

Product descriptions should do the work.

My goal is for the listing to answer most questions before you message me. Condition, missing pieces, tested status, flaws, accessories, and value should be clear.

If it was not tested, I say so.

Assume items are tested and working unless the listing says otherwise. If something is untested, it belongs in the title and description.

Meetups should be safe and local.

Cypress, CA is home base. Local meetups can happen in public places like parks or police stations. Delivery may be possible with a fair delivery fee.

I source what people need.

Need a Switch for a kid’s birthday, a hard-to-find collectible, a motorcycle bag, or a specific pair of shoes? I may not always have it, but I usually know how to start looking.

Need something sourced, sold, inspected, or liquidated?

Browse what is available now, save your favorite items, follow Cypress Flips, or contact me with questions. If I can help, I will. If I cannot, I will be honest about that too.
